I wrote this song freshly after my move to Portland from Eugene in February of 1994. I lived in the Lucky House, which is an amazing house in SE Portland scrunched in between a bunch of industry and the train tracks, and wrote many a Team Dresch song and solo song there – 2 songs that actually reference the house itself, "Freewheel" by TD ("this house is warm I think I'll take a nap just like Freewheel" who was a lovely little cat) and "16" ("these chairs they won't let me go anywhere and these chairs they hold me like I wish you would hold me").

Only one song on here is on their two great albums, but that's the good thing. That means there is a handful of new tracks for me to enjoy. Great harmonies, grungy guitar riffs and up tempo song pace- just like Dresch & co are known for. Thanks ladies! anabolic squirrel
